She was predeceased by: her goddaughter Rose Ducote Maher; her parents, Charles Bourgeois Jr. and Rosemary Mitten; her grandparents, Charles Bourgeois Sr. and Cecile Lablanc; her great-grandparents, Raymond Mitten Sr. and Hilda Besnard; and her brother-in-law Wallace Ducote Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Gary Fontenot; her daughter Jessica (Tim); her grandchildren, William (Shelby), Cecile and Lance (Ana); her great grandchild Landon; her sister Fay (Herbert); and her sibling's children, Laura, Mike and Wallace "Johnny". She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and cousins.
