He was predeceased by: his parents, Elrita Trahan Bourque and Wilson Joseph Bourque; and his sibling Kerney Bourque (Gayle). He is survived by: his wife Alina Breaux Bourque; his son Brent Joseph Bourque (Cindy); his granddaughter Katie Elizabeth Bourque; and his sibling Jenell Bernard (late Roland). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Irby was a member of the Kenner North Kiwanis Club, Kenner Police Department Community Police Corps, and an active member of Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson's Disease patients.
