He was loved and cherished by many people including: his uncle Jack'; his parents, Jack Lee Harris and Ernestine Abadie; his sisters, Shirley Dugas, Betty DiGiovanni, Joyce "Put" Simoneaux and Ann Harris Feliciana; his children, Shane Harris (Jessica) and Jackelyn Harris Gallo (Michael); his nephew Joseph "Joey" Feliciana Jr. (Susan); his brother-in-law Joseph Feliciana (Beverly); his grandchildren, Austin Harris, Taylor Harris, Jeffrey Farrell Jr. (Jordan), Landon Harris and Layni Harris; and his great grandchild Cohen Harris.
