He was predeceased by: his parents, David April and Rita Weindstein April; and his sister Lana April Garcia. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Candace Rumore Pearson; and his sibling's children, Michelle Garcia Assavedo (Toby) and Daniel "Rock" David Garcia. He is also survived by 4 great nephews, and many in-laws.
