It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Jane Veillon Poirrier of Kenner, Louisiana, born in Mamou, Louisiana, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Willis Joseph Poirrier; her parents, Tanzy Veillon and Lovella Israel Veillon; and her brother-in-law Bob Robert. She is survived by: her children, Jean Willis Poirrier II (Lise) of Vacherie, Cindy Poirrier Job (Lyndsay) of Orange Beach, AL, Pam Poirrier Buchtel-Hussey (Michael) of Metairie and Tesa Poirrier Becnel (Charles) of Metairie; her grandchildren, Cammie Poirrier Delaune (Drew), Jean Poirrier III (Karlie), Andree Eddleman (Lane), Lindsey Buchtel Joseph (George), Caroline Buchtel, Samantha Hussey Lamanna (Simone), Stence and Tanzy Jean Becnel; her great grandchildren, Tate, Sarah, Ella Delaune, Camille, Thomas Eddleman, Jake Willis, Jessie Poirrier and Nadia Joseph; and her siblings, Nolan Veillon (Ramona), Winston Veillon (Carolyn) and Winnie Veillon Robert.
