She was predeceased by: her parents, Marta Polo Fornias and Vicente J. Fornias. She is survived by: her husband William Henry Barkley; her children, William, Jr. Barkley (Olya), Richard Barkley and Samantha Woods (Terry); her grandchildren, Julia Barkley, Liza Barkley, Katie Barkley and Riley Woods; her siblings, Mary Fornias Soldani and Vincent P. Fornias; and her siblings-in-law, Robert E. Barkley and Patty A. Barkley. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in her memory to the New Orleans Lympho-Maniac Cancer Fund.
