He was predeceased by: his father Neville M. Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen "Kay" McGee Johnson; his son Lance Cowans; his grandchildren, Jourdyn and L. J. Cowans; his sisters, Heidi Loska (Steve) and Erin Schneider (Dennis); and his nephews, Corey, Kyle Schneider, Brendan and Stephen Loska.
