He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas LaMothe Jr. and Marguerite LaMothe; and his brother Herman LaMothe III (Dorothy). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Melancon LaMothe; his sons, Nicholas J. LaMothe Jr. (Adrianna) and Brent Smith (Sherey Ann); his grandchildren, Emma, Katelyn, Arissa and Kenzie LaMothe; and his siblings, Tamara LaMothe Eugene, Michael LaMothe Sr., David LaMothe, Marguerite LaMothe Verdesoto, Maria LaMothe Duplessis (Terry) and Christopher LaMothe (Theresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
