He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Marie McCarthy; his parents, Malvina James McCarthy and Dennis S. McCarthy; his brother Dennis McCarthy; and his stepson John Baber.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy McCarthy; his grandchild Darian Favalora; his children, Donna Higginbotham, Gary Lamkin, Terry Lamkin and Jerry Lamkin; his stepchildren, Danny Baber and Lori Rajo; and his brother Paul McCarthy. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
