He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lewis Welter and Vera Florence Welter; and his siblings, Marilyn, Lorraine and Robert Lewis.
He is survived by: his sons-in-law, John and Jim; his grandchildren, Kelsey (Andrew), Kyle (Emily), Adam, Allaire (Brandon) and Paul; his great grandchild Liam Richard; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew, Rachel (Jeremiah), Abigal, Katelyn (Zach) and Tyler; and his significant other Carla.
We ask that memorials be made in his name to Lakeside Hospice in Metairie, LA.
