He was predeceased by: his parents, Achille George Blais and Helene Perovich Blais; and his siblings, Gerard Blais, Edwin Blais and Audrey Blais.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Grego Blais; his children, Jamie Blais, Shelley Barreca (Tony), Jason Blais (Stephanie Luhta), Nicolas Blais (Alicia) and Nicole Blais (Noah Pais); his grandchildren, Colyn Elkin, Adiah Mason, Devron Barreca, Asher Blais and Aubrey Blais; and his sister Anne Blais McClay.
Robert "Bob" Alexander Blais, a great man of faith, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, died peacefully at Passages Hospice, following an unexpected stroke, on November the 1st, 2020 in New Orleans, LA at the age of 81.
