He was predeceased by: his son Tommy Rhodes; his parents, Albert Rhodes and Emma Rhodes; and his sisters, Joyce and Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Corinne Rhodes; his children, Barbara Rhodes Pittman (John Pittman), Mark Rhodes (Chali Petitfils Rhodes) and Daniel Rhodes (Natalie Bourgeois Rhodes); his grandchildren, Ashley Pittman Swengler (Jon Swengler), Anna Pittman, Caitlyn Rhodes, Breanna Burd, Brooke Burd and Christopher Rhodes (Lauren Boudreaux Rhodes); his great grandchildren, Ava Rhodes and Riley Swengler; his brothers, Ronald and Jimmy Rhodes; and his sister-in-law Claudia Rhodes.
Out of an abundance of caution and in keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, a small private service and celebration of life will be held to honor his memory.
