He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Kowen Dawes and Edward George Freitag; his stepfather Robed Joseph Dawes II; and his brother Robert Joseph Dawes III (Robbie). He is survived by: his wife Sondra Corbin Freitag; his children, Jennifer Cottingham Vicknair (Mark), April Freitag Hannah (Kevin), Sara Freitag and Thomas Clement Freitag Jr. (Leigha Cooley); and his siblings, Jimmy Skeins of Gardnervllle, Edward George Freitag (Yvonne) of New Smyrna, Florida, Elaine Casey (Danny) of Antioch, California, Darlene Nelson (Mike) of Slidell and Denise Dawes Halverson (Tommy) of Kenner, Louisiana. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
