It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Warren Joseph Scelson of Kenner, Louisiana, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on February 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother John Scelson Jr.; and his parents, Genevieve Appel Scelson and John Henry Scelson Sr. Warren. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Vidosh Scelson; his children, Julie Scelson-Gibson (Brian), Melissa Scelson-Ducote (Bobby) and Courtney E. Scelson; his grandchildren, Austin Farthing, Ridge Gibson, Chloe Ducote and Christian Ducote; his siblings, Pat Scelson Hynes, Audrey Scelson Monjure and Paul Scelson; and his sister-in-law Andrea Vidosh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation (adhering to social distancing guidelines) on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation are preferred.
