She is survived by: her brother William J. Flippen (Rosalie); her children, Garland J. Chauvin, Melanie Chauvin Fouchi, Celeste Chauvin Boudreaux (Russell), Robin Chauvin Richoux (Darrel), Wendy L. Chauvin and Cherie Chauvin Adams; her goddaughters, Jeannine Marie Boudreaux and Maria Elliott of Virginia; Joan Ward Black. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
