She was predeceased by: her husband Karie Winstead Blades; her parents, Emmitt Jesse "E. J." Milton, Sr. and Venus Gill Milton; her brothers, Emmitt Jesse "June" Milton, Jr. (Katie) and James Ernest Milton; and her nephews, Thomas Ray Milton and Karl Wayne Milton.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Blades (Cyndi) and Karen (Jesse McClendon); her brother Willie Karl Milton (Betty); her sister-in-law Audrey Y. Milton; her grandchildren, Megan McClendon Abdalla (Taylor), Bryan McClendon (Caitlyn), Matthew Lea and Wade Lea; and her great grandchildren, Noah Lea, Reid Abdalla, Blayne Page Abdalla, Andree Rolfsen and Jacob McClendon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spring Creek Baptist Church (73072 LA-1054, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
