It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hughes (Kentwood, Louisiana), born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Rester and Edna Furr Rester; her husband Redo "Jack" Henry Hughes; and her brother Clyde (Mary Rester). She is survived by: her sons, Jack D Hughes (Mary C.) of Kentwood, Louisiana, Paul M. Hughes (Mary W.) of Grand Junction and Mark C. Hughes (Dera H.) of Kentwood, Louisiana; her grandchildren, J. D. Hughes (Bridgette), Daniel Hughes (Laura), Brandy Hughes, Mandy Hughes (Marc Boren), Jeremy Hughes (Jamie) and Elizabeth Cash (Shane); and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Madalynne, Parker, Annabel, Avery, Hannah-Kay, Hayden, Christopher and Cordelia.
