She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebie Varnado and Mamie Varnado; her daughters, Sandra Fontenot and Jean Dimauro; her son-in-law Roy Whittle; her grandson Travis Whittle; and her siblings, Beatrice Newman Ann Carrier, Sebie Varnado, Jr. and James Varnado.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Carroll, Deborah Whittle, Lawana Carter, Ronald Breeland (Beth) and Keith Carter; her sons-in-law, David Fontenot and Skip Dimauro; and her sister Emily McMillan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKneely Funeral Home - Kentwood (501 Ave G, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
