He was predeceased by : his parents, Murphy Joseph Gauthreaux and Janice Faye Morgan Gauthreaux. He is survived by : his wife Rena Gauthreaux; his children, Murphy Keith Gauthreaux, II of Kinder, Shaun Cody Gauthreaux of Kinder, Michael Duplichan of Lake Charles, Shayne Marcantel, II of Lake Charles, Lane Marcantel of Baton Rouge, Misty Duplichan of Baton Rouge and Ashley Duplichan of Baton Rouge; and his sister Vera Gay Chaumont of Kinder.
