He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Batiste and Emma Batiste; his son Vincent Batiste; his siblings, Irene Foster, Eula Mae Batiste, Corrine Batiste Sanders and Ray Dennis Batiste; and his former life partner LIllie Mae Breaux.
He is survived by : his godfather Batiste, Sr.; his wife Catherine Batiste; his children, Marie Richardson-Hogan (Corey), Andrea Batiste, Stacey Denise Allen, Tamica Latasha Williams, Erica Jacobs, Will Batiste Jr. (Gala Brown), Ernest Batiste (Timika Gray), Rev. Rico Lewis (Audrienne), Onre Shannon Batiste, Dante Deon Batiste, Irvin Williams and Alfred Starks; and his siblings, Sally Mae Watson and Wilton Batiste. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, god children and other relatives and friends.
