It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lawrence Sowell of Lacassine, Louisiana, born in Kilbourne, Louisiana, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father James Edward "Jim" Sowell; his father-in-law Frank Joseph Ardoin; and his grandparents, J. C., Eunice Sowell, Leslie and Edna Bye.
He is survived by : his husband Branden Ardoin of Lacassine; his mother Dianne Bye Sowell of Kilbourne; his sisters, Sonja Bradford (Gary) of Kilbourne and Mitzie Sowell (Mary McCollum) of Gulf Breeze, FL; his nieces, Kinley Bradford and Madilyn Bradford; his great-nephew Jack Bradford; his mother-in-law Theresa Goudeau Ardoin of Round Rock, TX; his sisters-in-law, Jillian Ardoin (Alejandro Ruiz) and Lindsey Ardoin of Round Rock, TX; his nieces-in-law, Kaiya Ruiz and Amelia Orvis; and his nephew-in-law Ronan Ardoin.
