He is survived by: his wife Sandra McLean of Carencro; his daughter Heather Williams; his grandson Aedion of Colorado; his adoptive son Lyle Melancon of Lafayette; his mother Dorothy Boswell; his sister Robin Thompson; and his sibling's children, Paris Thompson and Mya Thompson of New Brunswick, NJ.. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
