It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Earl Demoss of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Plain Dealing, Louisiana, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Earl DeMoss; his grandson Jonathan DeMoss; and his parent Berdie DeMoss. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sheldon DeMoss; his sons, Kevin DeMoss (Claire), Keith DeMoss and Kendall DeMoss (Silvia); and his sisters, Norma DeMoss Brown and Linda DeMoss Neal. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in Alvin's memory, to a local VFW Post.
