It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Doolin (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her significant other Dr. Richard Francis Doolin; her parents, Joseph Milton and Doris Ortego Deshotels; her brother James Curtis Deshotels; and her grandson Kevin Damian Doolin.

She is survived by: her sons, William Leonard Doolin, II of Lafayette, Timothy Richard Doolin (Julia Pettiette Doolin) of Shreveport and Chad Damien Doolin of Lafayette; her sister Deloris Rollins of Lafayette; her sisters-in-law, Alicia Deshotels of Miami, FL, Ruth Doolin of Maricopa, AZ and Mary Kosta of Rochester, NY; and her grandchildren, Oliver Wrye Doolin, Timothy Patrick Doolin, Christopher David Clark, Sean Gregory Doolin, Devin Erin Doolin, Liam Benjamin Doolin, Kelleen Bernice Doolin, Alivia Ann Doolin and Isabella Ann Bourque. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends.

With regards to the most recent mandates and laws of the current pandemic, masks and social distancing are required for gatherings in the funeral home and cemetery.
