He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Marie; his parents, Arthur Thibodeaux and Lydia Fisette Bergeron; and his sons, Michael, Todd and Mark Thibodeaux.

He is survived by: his children, Art Thibodeaux (Lloyd) of Dadeville, AL, Tim Thibodeaux (Beth) of Houston, TX and Brenda Castro (Pat) of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
