Barbara Roy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Roy of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Rayne, Louisiana, who passed away on November 6, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel "Sonny" Roy, Jr.; her parents, Lena Mae and Robert E. Harrington; her daughter Sherri Roy Barton; her parents-in-law, Emma Conque Roy and Dan Roy, Sr.; and her sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" Roy.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Daniel Roy (Sherri Pitre) and John Robert Roy (Patti); and her brothers, Ken and Chris Harrington. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sr. Doris Roy, S. E. C.; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Dan "Sonny" Roy Endowed Scholarship through the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation.
