It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernita S. Henry of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Castille and Berthena Castille; and her siblings, Charles E. White, Arttis Smith, Anthony Smith and Dorothy Alexander.

She is survived by: her husband Arthur Henry, Sr. of Lafayette; her children, Daniel Benjamin, Sr. of Lafayette, Lequanda Smith of Lafayette and Keila Martin (Albert, Jr.) of Lafayette; and her stepsons, Arthur, Shameika of Opelousas, Jason Henry (Angelica) of Sunset and Latania Bias (Sherron) of Church Point.
