She was predeceased by: her parents, Florena Taylor and Louis Andrews; and her parents-in-law, Amy and Efron Bernard. She is survived by: her husband Joseph G. Bernard, Sr.; her children, Mary Eleanor Dowling (Elliott), Michael L. Bernard (Debra), Robert Earl Bernard (LeAudrey) and Joseph Bernard, Jr. (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Quanita, Jasmine, Camille Bernard, Tomeka Clay, Gregory, Michael, April Dennis, Whitney Stewart, Kelsey Bernard, Robert Senegal, Gordon Duhon, Markeitha Bernard and Blake Dowling. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
