With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Blake Murphy of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Las Vegas, Nevada, who passed away on June 7, 2021 at the age of 31. He was predeceased by : his grandmother Mona J. Alleman Mouton; and his aunt Tina Duhon. He is survived by : his parents, Sy Murphy (Teresa) of Lafayette and Kimberly Landry Best (Will) of Breaux Bridge; and his grandparents, Patrick Mouton of Carencro, Vernon and Rose Landry of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 12th 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, June 13th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home Chapel (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 13th 2021 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
