He is survived by: his daughter Kristie Fontenot Poirier (Jacques); his grandchildren, Ashlyn Poirier and Brooklyn Poirier; and his siblings, Sherryl G. Bourgeois, Cathy M. Heinen, Deborah K. Norris Savage and Gary Fontenot. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
