It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Annette Thompson (Lafayette, Louisiana), born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Hennis and Drucilla Hennis-Strickland; and her sisters, Eva Jenkins, Lena RoseBowers and Nora Didon.

She is survived by: her husband David Johnson; her children, Raymond Cameron of Houma, Jerry Cameron (Cheryl) of Houma, Benny Cameron (Cindy) of Houma and Sonji Holliday; her grandchildren, Melissa Luke, Brian Cameron, Karl Cameron, Heather Cameron, Garette Bergeron, Meagan Arnold and Aaron Holliday; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Cody, Lochlan, Kadin, Isacha, Victoria, Valerie and Bubba, Jr.; and her sister Patricia Culpepper of Marion County, FL..
