She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Jean Batiste and Mary Mable Demouchet; and her siblings, Glen Paul Fontenette, Clifton Demouchet, Clifton Jean Batiste and Mary Kay Demouchet.
She is survived by: her sons, Draper Demouchet (Blake) and Kadeem Demouchet (Michelle Simon); her siblings, McKinley Demouchet, Sr. (Jeanette), Anthony Demouchet, Calvin Demouchet, Whitney Jean Batiste, Wilton Jean Batiste, Felicia Lewis (Chester), Patricia Payne (Karl), Monique Demouchet, Prisella Ledet (Roland) and Glenda Gotch; her grandchildren, Taegan, Hendrix Demouchet and Skye Helaire; her sister-in-law Jackie Williams; her niece Madison Demouchet; and her close friends, Carol Dixon and Myra Mouton. She is also survived by friends, especially her children and grandchildren.
