He is survived by: his sons, Mark Becnel (Denise) and Mike Becnel (Kelli); his grandchildren, Alison Becnel, Lauren Becnel Marsiglia (Philip), Ashley Becnel, Benjamin Becnel, Chad Becnel (Leslie), Steele Becnel (Sarah), Cole Ives, Connor Ives, Brittany Ives Brown (Adam) and Cameron Ives (Brianna); and his great grandchildren, Luke Marsiglia, Jack Marsiglia, Molly Marsiglia, Sam Becnel, Charlie Becnel, Caroline Becnel, Wesley Becnel, Mila Brown, Brooks Brown, Beckett Brown, Chandler Ives and Kendall Ives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Lafayette (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (415 Robley Dr, Lafayette, LA 70503). A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery (4045 North St, Baton Rouge, LA 70806).
