It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Mark Young (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Mae Young and Clifton Joseph Young; his brothers, Murphy Dugas and Ceasar Young; his grandparents, Meliana Dugas, Murphy Dugas and Rita Young; and his aunts, Marie Bartie, Virginia Price, Doris Dugas and Barbara Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Garrick Young; his children, Raytellia Oshun, Jennifer Murray and Jessica Garrick; and his siblings, Eve Gloston (Stanley), Kenneth Young (Barbara), Roland Young and Clifford Young. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; his siblings.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:30 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. All attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
