He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Joseph, Sr. and Agnes Jacquet Joseph; his wife Lillian Mouton Joseph; and his siblings, Francis R. Joseph, Albert C. Joseph and Novella Joseph Fontenette.

He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Joseph (Connie) of Lafayette, LA and Clifton Joseph, III of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Ebonie, Justin, Taylor, Malaysia, Myles, Dylan, Caleb and Amelia; his stepgrandson Jourdan; his great grandchildren, Giselle Antoine, Bayleigh Antoine and Jayden Michael Joseph; and his sisters, Mary Ella Joseph, Shirley Joseph Thibeaux (Alvin Thibeaux) and Lilly Faye Joseph. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
