It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clinton Ellis Jr. (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton, Sr. Ellis and Martha Perkins Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Christine Thomas; his children, Lacey Williams of Clinton Ellis, III, Cheryl Julien (Arron, Sr.), Damien Knockum, Sr. (Keisha), Stanford Knockum, Jr. (Trenell) and Reshide Lumar (Amanda); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Milton Landry (Angela), Joseph Michael Thomas (Linda), John Thomas (Adrienne), Ramona Landry (Sam), Veronica Lumar, Maxine Vilavasso (Michael, Sr.) and Shirley Thomas. He is also survived by one Godchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
