She was predeceased by: her parents, Robley Hebert and Esta Mitchell; and her husband Harry J. Chauvin. She is survived by: her sister Alva Mae Carlin; her children, Joan Chauvin Edgar (Allen) and Patrick Wayne Chauvin (Vickie); her grandchildren, James David Atkins, Jr. (Dana), Cody Wayne Chauvin and Nikki Clare Chauvin (Eric); her great grandchildren, David James Atkins and Berkley Hayes Picard; her stepgrandchildren, Rachael Edgar and Allen "Frosty" Edgar, Jr.; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ali and Aiden Edgar; and her siblings-in-law, Beatrice Chauvin and James A. Chauvin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Hospice of Acadiana.
