He is survived by: his close friend Jay Lewis; his wife Mary Rollins Stewart; his children, E. Suzanne Stewart, J. Michele Calandro (Tommy), Joseph E. Stewart (Lauri), R. Bruce Stewart and Stephen W. Stewart; his grandchildren, Tracy Thomas Gum, Samuel Moore, Kelley Calandro, Lauren McDougal (Devin), Bryce Stewart (Katie) and Brett Stewart; his great grandchildren, Alex Favret, Jeanne Favret and Jade McDougal; his brother Kenneth Stewart (Sue); and his sisters-in-law, Lolly Stewart and Norma Catlege (Daymon). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
