With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Shaheen Cooper of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on February 6, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Shaheen and Louise Shaheen; her son Jimmy Cooper; her husband James Fenimore Cooper IV; and her grandson Michael Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Cooper (Sue Cooper), Mark Cooper, Kitty Cooper Dalby, John Cooper (Edna Cooper), Laura Cooper and Chris Cooper (Molly Cooper); her grandchildren, Jenny Cooper Thomas, Katie Cooper Kennedy, Gillian Dalby Pugh, Jane Dalby, Rich A. McGovern III, Zachary Hoofard, Victoria Grey and Warren Cooper (Wyatt Cooper); and her siblings, Connie Gearheard, Cathy Brown and John Shaheen.
