It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine L. Mann (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine L. Mann to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Benjamin Mann; her parents, Larry Joseph and May Church Louviere; her brother Larry T Louviere; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly L Daspit and Russell H Mann.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa M Breaux (Michael), Leslie M Sandlin (Jimmy), Louis Benjamin Mann, Jr. (Sudie) and David M Mann (Sandy); her grandchildren, Matthew Breaux (Megan), Ainsley King (Nick), Kirby Schroeder (Scot), Shelby Sandlin-Jewell (Davey), Maxwell Sandlin (Mallory), Marks Mann, Haughton Mann, Taylor Mann and Misha Mann; her sister-in-law Carol Mann Marcotte; her friend Hampton Davis; and her grandsons, Matthew Andre Breaux, James Maxwell Mann Sandlin, Louis Marks Mann, II, Richard Haughton Mann, Jenya Joseph Mann and David Mikhail Mann. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In keeping with current state-wide COVID-19 mandates, attendees are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing for all service-related activities.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to "Louis B Mann Centennial Foundation for Mechanical Engineering" at UL or Hospice of Acadiana or the charity of your choice.
