He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexis Richard and Mary Benjamin Richard; his sisters, Mary Ann Landry and Emily Richard; and his grandparents, Joachim, Sadonia Clement Richard, George and Amanda Joseph Benjamin.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph (Grace), Junius (Linda), Wilbert (Susan), Lawrence (Patricia), Wilfred, Raymond, Herbert Richard (Bridgette), Renella Richard and Audrey Leblanc (John); his friend Ancella Pete; and his cousins, Horace Benjamin and Alfred Zeno. He is also survived by her daughter and granddaughters, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
