She is survived by: her children, Tillawanna Porter of Lafayette, LA and Jimmy Porter, Jr. (Mahogany Porter) of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Desirie, Erin and Jurell of Dallas, TX; her mother-in-law Genevieve Porter of Lafayette, LA; her siblings, Christopher Broussard of Lafayette, LA, Robert Batiste of Lafayette, LA, Shmar Batiste of Lafayette, LA and Denisa Narcisse of Lafayette, LA; and her goddaughters, Jessica Porter of Lafayette, LA and Tanya Young of Broussard, LA. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a. m. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
