It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Griffin (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Harris and Almeda Alfred Harris; her husband Wille Griffin; her sons, Michael and Ricky Griffin; her siblings, Jessie Goodie, Haywood, Antoine, Roy, Allen Harris, Evelyn Portalis, Alberta Landry, Marjorie Francis and Anna Lou Alfred; and her close friend Ruddy LeBlanc.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Chaisson (Bonnie) and Ira Dell Moore (Ann); and her grandchildren, Arthur (Quanzette), Kathy, Katie Handy, Michele Warren (Jermaine), Malita, Malik Bartie, Joseph Chaisson, Nicole Cooper (Wardell), Chastity Charles (Curtis), Micheal Griffin (Sabrina), Jacqueline and Omar Moore. She is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
