It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Houston (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George M. Houston; her son Scott Houston; her father Leo Samuelson (Harriet B.); and her sister Gayle Bailey. She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Houston Lizotte (Philip); her grandson Kyle Lizotte; and her stepgranddaughter Nicole Lizotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church in DeRidder, or to the United Methodist Children's Home in Ruston, LA.
