He was predeceased by: his children, Trudy Trahan and Bryan; his parents, Ulysse Trahan and Eva Trahan; and his siblings, Dalton Trahan, Nelson Trahan, Ulysse "Cowboy" Trahan Jr., Bertha Manuel, Lucia Roy, Agnes Stanley and Mildred Champagne.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Trahan (Suzette Alleman) of Sunset; his granddaughter Aleixis Burke (Devon) of Duson; his great grandchild Banks Burke; his siblings, Hazel Roy of Lafayette, Harold Trahan (Shirley) of Toledo Bend and John Allen Trahan (Lena) of Duson; the mother of his children Peggy Trahan of Scott; and his caregiver Maison of Lafayette.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A rosary was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
