It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howell Arlistus Dennis Jr. (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Stokes Dennis; his parents, Howell A. Dennis Sr. and Mary Stewart Dennis; his brother Macy Stewart Dennis; and his nephew David Stewart Lawrence Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Howell A. Dennis III of Lafayette and Barbara Dennis Outland (Robert) of Rich Square; his grandchildren, Robert Boone Outland IV of Rich Square and Mary Lois Outland of Rich Square; and his sibling's children, Bernard Archie Watson IV (Missy), Anne Dennis Mouton (Stephan), Mary Dennis Miller, Kathryn Watson Thomas (Dave) and Maery Butler of Lafayette.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Ridgecroft School in Ahoskie, NC.
