It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jake Saltamachia of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Saltamachia and Edna Najolia; his children, Gary Saltamachia and Karen Saltamachia Engler; and his sister Marilyn Saltamachia.

He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Saltamachia of Baton Rouge, Kenneth Saltamachia of Lafayette, Michael Saltamachia of Plano, TX, David Saltamachia of Lafayette and Paul Saltamachia of Denham Springs; and his siblings, Joseph Saltamachia of Fulshear, TX and Carol Anne Stack of Kenner. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
