With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Melton (Lafayette, Louisiana), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on February 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ada Rai and James Mclemore Melton; and his siblings, Betty Rai and Joseph Earl. He was also cherished by his wife, daughter, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and more family and friends.
