He was predeceased by: his wife Rosella B. Cyprien; his parents, Wallace Cyprien and Estelle Cyprien; and his sister Mary Johnson (Joseph). He is survived by: his children, Tricia Smith (Michael) of Lake Charles, Joseph Cyprien Jr. of Lafayette, Kelly Cyprien of Stillwater, MN and Kevin Cyprien (Brenda) of New Caney, TX; his grandchildren, Kyndall Smith (Mary), Michael Smith, Bradford Smith, Xavier Smith, Courtlon Cyprien, Princess Cyprien, Ashton Cyprien and Jonathan Cyprien; his great grandchildren, Darius Smith, Ethan Auzenne, Eli Smith, Emily Rose Smith and Ava Cyprien; and his sister Evelyn Fontenette (John Henry).
