Kaishonta left this world on April 30, 2025 at the age of 37, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her brother Harvey Potier (Laroshanthony); her nephews, Caden and Harlon; her niece Brielle Potier of Lafayette, LA; her siblings, Iyanla Dixon and Harvey Bowie, Jr.; her niece J'Morie Bowie of Mississippi; her aunts and uncles, Louella Zeno-Amos, Joseph "Squeaky" Zeno, Catherine Siner, Howard Arceneaux of Lafayette, LA, Bonita Dixon (Ben) of Alabama, Marilyn Bowie of Alabama, Roberta Bowie of Alabama, Stevie Bowie of Alabama, Scottie Bowie (Vicki) of Alabama, Felecia Harris of Alabama and Stacey Harris of Alabama; her cousins, Carol Amos-Campbell-Robinson (Micheal) of Baton Rouge, LA, Flamica "Gina" Amos of Houston, TX, Alexis Zeno of Lafayette, LA, Faren Zeno of Lafayette, LA and Andrea Thibeaux (Jacolby) of Lafayette, LA; her godchildren, Karlos "Tookie" Campbell and Jailee Thibeaux; and her close friend Dedra Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
